Burawa has learned to limit the damage

TRENTON, NJ - After a torn oblique injury paired with an undiagnosed rib injury kept him off the mound for the entire 2012 season, reliever Danny Burawa has returned to baseball and getting better each day. Coming into the Trenton Thunder bullpen, Burawa is learning to get back to his old self and realizing that his problems were all in the approach.

"It's been more about getting back to where I was," Burawa said. "I don't want to say that it doesn't affect you but it does. After that long period of time you have to re-teach yourself how to pitch. I wouldn't say my game has changed as much as it is just getting back to where it was and to where I felt comfortable."
