| Drafted with the Cubs' fifth round pick out of Hermitage High School in Richmond, Va., in 2005, Taylor made six starts for the Mesa Cubs of the Arizona League. He allowed 12 earned runs in 15.2 innings pitched for a 6.89 ERA, striking out 13 and walking seven. |
