Traded from San Diego to Seattle on July 31, 2004 in return for 1B Dave Hansen. Originally drafted in the 5th round (139th overall) of the 2000 amateur draft.
2004 Highlights:
The ace of the Lake Elsinore Storm staff, Huber compiled an 8-3 record with a 3.70 ERA before being traded to the M's organization
After the trade, the right-hander went 4-1 with a 6.12 ERA in seven appearances at Inland Empire
Combined to strike out 138 batters in 139.1 IP
2003 Highlights:
Split time between Fort Wayne of the Midwest League and Lake Elsinore of the California League
Went 1-1 with a 3.76 ERA and a 34-to-11 strikeout-to-walk ratio with Fort Wayne, and 3-5 with a 5.18 ERA and 43-to-31 strikeout-to-walk ratio at Lake Elsinore
Career Highlights:
Went 8-12 with a 5.12 ERA in 26 starts with the Fort Wayne Wizards as a 21 year old in 2002
