Drafted by Seattle in the 1st round (11th overall) of the 1999 amateur draft.
2004 Highlights:
Started the season late at Double-A San Antonio before being promoted to Triple-A Tacoma for the first time in his career
Batted .280 in 132 at bats with the Missions and .258 in 151 at bats with the Rainiers
Slugged 6 home runs in 44 games with Tacoma
Relegated to designated hitter duties while he continued to strengthen his shoulder and elbow on the side
2003 Highlights:
Missed the entire season while recovering from shoulder surgery
Career Highlights:
In 2002, split time between High-A San Bernardino and San Antonio as a 21-year-old, hitting .282 and .253 respectively
