Acquired:
Mariners' 1st round draft pick in 1998.

2003 Highlights:
  • Started season on DL following UCL surgery
  • Made two starts with Inland Empire in California League after coming off disabled list
  • Appeared in four games for San Antonio posting a 0.36 ERA in 25.1 innings
  • Made two starts for Tacoma after June promotion
  • Missed entire second half of season with cervical spinal herniation
