2003 Highlights:
Stayed healthy for the majority of the season, playing in 145 games
Batted .294 with 25 2B, 24 HR and 98 RBI, doing so despite being the slowest baserunner in baseball
Recorded hit No. 2,000 on May 2 in Chicago, going 2-4 from the plate
Named AL Player of the Month for May, when he led the majors with 30 RBI and 10 HR

Became Mariners all-time leader in total bases with a single on April 24 vs. Cleveland, giving him a career-total of 3,317
