TAMPA, FL - With the threat of torrential all-day raining looming in the area, the minor league tilts with the Blue Jays were postponed and the Yankees played earlier intrasquad games instead, and it was there that Yeicok Calderon helped keep the Tampa Yankees in the game against Charleston before the heavens opened up.

The Tampa offense really looked lethargic on Monday. In fact, outfielder Yeicok Calderon, who began the day on the bench, accounted for Tampa's only run in a 2-1 loss to the RiverDogs when he walloped a mammoth solo home run off of side-arming flame thrower Andury Acevedo in the bottom of the seventh inning.
