Mariners announce 2014 spring training NRIs

Taylor was the organization's MiLB POY in '13

Seattle will head to spring training in 2014 with a revamped roster headlined by Robinson Cano. But the club still has some open roster spots up for competition, and the club announced today that 19 players will be non-roster invitees to spring. This list contains seven players on the SeattleClubhouse Top-50 prospect list for the Mariners.

The Mariners today announced that the club extended invites to 19 non-40-man roster players for big league camp in 2014. Those players include 2013 Mariners Minor League Player of the Year Chris Taylor among others. This list will certainly grow before the Mariners report in a month, but below are the 11 pitchers and 8 position players who will be joining the 40-man roster in big league camp when it opens up.

With these additions Seattle will head to camp with 29 pitchers, 5 catchers, 14 infielders and 11 outfielders.
