Segedin Feeling Like A New Man

Rob Segedin had gotten off to the hot start he sorely sought in 2013, smashing extra-base hits and posting an OPS approaching 1.000 in his first 18 games. He quickly went down with a hip injury though that required season-ending surgery. What he didn't envision at that time, however, was working his way back and feeling like a completely new man as his rehab draws to an end.

"Actually next Friday I will be finished 100 percent and game ready, but obviously it's the offseason so there's no games," he said.
