With a forecast calling for heavy rains, the Seattle Mariners-New York Mets game was called two hours before its scheduled 4:10 p.m. PST start.
The game was rescheduled as part of a doubleheader Sunday. The first game will start at 9:10 a.m. PST.
Saturday night's scheduled starters - Seattle's Freddy Garcia and New York's Al Leiter - will pitch in the opener. Seattle left-hander Jamie Moyer and New York lefty Mike Bacsik are scheduled to pitch the second game.
It was the third time that the Mets had been rained out in the past five days.
Oakland and Philadelphia's game at Veterans Stadium was also rained out.
