Wisconsin sends eight to Single-A All-Star Game

Single-A Wisconsin is represesented well

Four position players and four pitches will make All-Star appearances for the Timber Rattlers in 2003.

Eight Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were named to the Midwest League All-Star game, to be held June 17th at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, Michigan.

Rene Rivera, the Seattle Mariners' second round draft pick in 2001, was named to the starting lineup.

Outfielder T.J. Bohn, a 30th round selection in 2002, will be a reserve, as will infielders Corey Harrington and Matt Hagen.

The Timber Rattlers will send four pitchers to the game as well. Included will be three left-handers - Bobby Livingston, Ryan Rowland-Smith and Cesar Jimenez - and one right-hander, T.A. Fulmer.

The All-Stars were nominated and selected by the field managers of the Midwest League.
